The tourbillon is a special device in high-quality wristwatches and pocket watches. It was invented around 1800 by Abraham Louis Breguet to compensate for the inaccuracies in the movement caused by changes in the position of a watch. In a tourbillon, the escape wheel, the anchor and the so-called balance are applied to a small plate in a rotating frame. The seconds pinion
is located at the bottom of the bogie and is firmly connected to the lower plate. The bogie, in the middle of which the balance swings exactly above the shaft of the seconds wheel, rotates
around the screwed-on seconds wheel. The escape wheel's drive runs on the seconds wheel. So when the seconds wheel turns once per minute, the tourbillon (the plate) follows this rotation. As a result, position or center of gravity errors no longer occur or are corrected once per minute (depending on the tourbillon). A tourbillon is still considered very difficult to build today and setting a tourbillon watch also requires a high level of expertise and care.
The double assembly
Our tourbillons are manufactured using what is known as a double assembly process. In the first phase, the movements are "roughly assembled" after the individual parts have been completed in order to test their functionality. The movements are then completely dismantled again and only reassembled and encased in the watch case after the individual parts have been cleaned and checked again.

Constantin Weisz guarantees that this product was made by hand from high-quality materials. Extensive quality controls guarantee that the watch was checked and adjusted before leaving the factory. Nevertheless, we cannot rule out material defects. If your new watch is not free of defects, please contact our customer service within two years of the date of purchase. - Damage caused by external force
- Interventions by persons not authorized by us
- improper handling of the watch
- Failure to follow the operating instructions
- Leather straps, wearing parts and seals are also excluded from the guarantee.
- Liability for incidental and consequential damages is excluded

What does Pre-loved Watches mean?
Pre-loved watches are presentation samples, new goods with signs of storage, items returned by customers, which we offer to you at particularly low prices after inspection. They may have slight defects, which were of course taken into account when determining the purchase price.
What defects should I expect?
Pre-loved watches may show slight signs of wear, missing set components or damaged or different packaging. Limited edition numbers may be missing. The specific defects vary from individual to individual.
The watches may have slight signs of wear. The cases and straps may be slightly scratched. Clasps may be a little stiff or loose. Operating instructions and certificates may be missing or only available in English.
However, the usability of the items is given and has been checked by us.
Can I return pre-loved watches?
Of course, pre-loved watches can also be returned to us by exercising the statutory right of cancellation and revoking the contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods. You can find further information on this in our terms and conditions.
What about the statutory warranty law ?
The statutory warranty period of 2 years also applies to pre-loved watches.
